November 2023 on Glitch: Challenges and Self Reflections
2023 is rapidly coming to a close, but there are so many cool things happening this time of year! Ahead of the upcoming holidays, members of the Glitch team have been participating in the Advent of Code (Day 5 has been a tough one!). Itch.io, our fave indie games platform, is hosting their Secret Santa Jam. And as I write this, makers of every type are all hurrying to get their projects completed ahead of the collective December 25th deadline.
If you’re up for creating something, we recently announced the next Community Code Jam theme, “gift-giving.” If you missed the first round, you can see the submissions for the last theme, “self-portrait” on this playlist. Jenn Schiffer, director of community at Glitch has also started hosting a weekly livestream, where she showcases community projects and works on her submission for that month’s challenge. Watch the next livestream, this Friday, December 8, 2023. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Since the year is almost over, that means it’s time for ✨ Last Year on Glitch! ✨ This is the third year we’ve gathered the community together to recognize all of the cool and creative projects that you bring into the world. Nominate your favorite projects—and they can totally be ones you’ve made—by using this submission form. Remember to get your noms in by December 22nd! We’ll announce the honorees shortly after.
Now, speaking of favorites, here are some of our favorite projects that you created during November 2023! ✨
