How to Get Your App Featured on Glitch
We’re immensely proud of the work our community does and we are constantly looking for ways to show off the unique projects and creators on our platform. A couple ways we currently highlight cool apps from our community are through Twitter and in written posts on The Playlist.
There are so many amazing projects out there, we want to make sure we’re seeing as many as possible, so we’ve created a form for submissions. Whether you’ve made a useful tool or a gorgeous data visualization, all projects are welcome!
Getting your app featured on Glitch is a great opportunity to have thousands of users see it in action. We’ve put together a list of things we look for when featuring a project.
An app that is fun to look at. Although we love being a place for complex interactives, games and productivity tools, there’s something about a beautiful app that is exciting for everyone.* *
*Example: Canvas Card*s
We love to leave new coders or tech adjacent people with a “wait how did it do that?” response and show tech people the unique kinds of projects they can only find in the Glitch community.
_Example: Magic Sketchpad, LikeLike
In addition to featuring unique projects, we love to show off apps that show off something cool and lets users, regardless of technical ability, get right into the fun.
*Examples: Orbital Paint, Input Delay, Tenori-Off
One of our favorite things is to see all the relevant, opinionated or funny apps that come in during a trend or around a big news event. It doesn’t need to be super complex!
Examples: *Liam Bot, COVID Update, FoodHype
_Don’t feel discouraged if you think your app doesn’t fit into any of these categories perfectly. If you think your app is interesting, personal or tells a good story, we’d love to see it_!
